Posted October 08, 2018 06:32:38 I grew up watching my mom with her husband, and I’ve been a big fan ever since.
The first lady is a legend.
The First Lady of Texas, she was an outspoken activist, a fierce fighter, and an inspirational leader.
She’s been on the front lines of the fight against poverty, environmental injustice, and climate change.
Her life is truly a story of determination, love, and compassion.
As a child, she would watch the Little Sisters of the Poor and be inspired by their struggle to give their community the food and medicine they needed.
As an adult, she went on to lead the Women’s March, one of the largest marches of the 20th century.
I’ve loved every minute of her life.
I know she will always be remembered as a strong advocate for our country and the world.
And the First Lady was also the first African American woman to become first lady.
Her legacy lives on.
